Christie Priem is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has specialized in supporting children with communication disorders and their families for the last 10 years.  She has been the Special Needs Director at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona for that same amount of time.  During that time, her focus has been not only creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for children with disabilities and their families, but also in finding creative and sustainable ways to equip volunteers.  Her desire has always been to equip God's Church as a whole to better serve the needs of children with special needs so that together we can reach this under-served population for Jesus.

Christie lives in Chandler, Arizona, with her husband and their three cats.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, reading, and baking yummy gluten-free snacks.
