Christie (Reiman) Priem is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has specialized in supporting children with communication disorders, cognitive delays, and behavior challenges (and their families!) since 2001. She has worked with a variety of developmental (from birth) and acquired (after trauma) diagnoses in public schools, private schools, private clinics, and in families' homes, as well as in church settings. During that time, her focus has been on providing love and support to children with disabilities and their families. Her desire is to equip families, educators, and volunteers with strategies and tools that will help them teach the children in their lives, especially those with diagnoses and developmental differences.
Christie grew up in Minnesota, and moved to Arizona in 1996 with her husband, Greg, who's a software engineer. They both like cats, science fiction, and reading. In her free time, Christie also enjoys hiking in the mountains (in the summer) or the desert (in the winter) and cooking delicious plant-based (vegan) food.
